Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
This policy explains what personal information LeadPulse collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We've written it plainly and tried not to promise more than we can deliver.
1. Who this covers
"LeadPulse," "we," or "us" refers to LeadPulse. This policy applies to:
- Visitors to leadpulse.chat.
- People who chat with a LeadPulse AI assistant that we host on a business's website.
When you chat with an assistant on a business's site, that business is the party you're trying to reach. They decide what to collect and how they follow up; we operate the assistant and pass your details to them. In privacy terms, the business is generally the "controller" of that lead and we act as their "processor" / "service provider." For our own website and product operations, we are the controller.
2. Information we collect
From website visitors
- Basic technical data your browser sends (IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed) and limited analytics.
- Anything you send us directly, such as an email to [email protected].
From assistant conversations
- What you type — the messages you send the assistant.
- Contact and job details you choose to provide — such as name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about the work you're asking about.
- Consent records — whether you agreed to be contacted by SMS and/or email, and when.
- Conversation metadata — timestamps, the business/site you engaged, and technical logs.
Please don't share sensitive information you don't need to (for example, government ID, payment card, or bank numbers). Our assistants are instructed not to ask for those.
3. How we use information
- To operate the assistant and answer your questions.
- To capture your inquiry and deliver it to the business whose site you engaged, so they can follow up.
- To send follow-up by SMS or email only where you've opted in, about your inquiry.
- To maintain, secure, debug, and improve the service.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
4. Text messages & email consent
If you provide a phone number or email and opt in, you may receive messages about your inquiry from, or on behalf of, the business you contacted.
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies by conversation.
- You can opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP, or unsubscribe from email using the link in the message. Reply HELP for help.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- With the business you contacted — that's the point of the conversation; your lead goes to them.
- Service providers / subprocessors that help us run the product (for example, hosting, and the AI model provider that generates responses). They may process messages solely to provide their service to us.
- Legal reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — if LeadPulse is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to run the site and understand basic usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we'll ask for consent.
7. How long we keep it
We keep conversation and lead data for as long as needed to provide the service, support the business you contacted, and meet legal or operational requirements, then delete or de-identify it. The business you contacted keeps its own copy under its own retention practices.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we work to protect your data and to address issues promptly.
9. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. Because your lead is held by the business you contacted, some requests are best directed to them; we'll help where we can and, where we act as their processor, follow their instructions.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing." We do not sell personal information.
- EEA/UK (GDPR): where applicable, our lawful bases include performing the service you requested, legitimate interests, consent (for marketing messages), and legal obligations.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll verify and respond as required by law.
10. Children
The service is for businesses and adults. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Other sites
Our site and demos may link to third-party websites (including the real businesses shown in demos). Their privacy practices are their own; this policy doesn't cover them.
12. International
We operate in the United States. If you access the service from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data-protection laws.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
